A bank is not only measured by the returns it gives its shareholders, but also by the returns it provides to the community!
 
 
The Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank (QMB) is the first and the largest Qarz Al-Hasaneh bank operating in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Since its inception in 2007, having believed in the notion of an egalitarian society, QMB emphasized the importance of Islamic banking patterns with the aim of enhancing and strengthening the economic power of the people from all different walks of life of the society, making every efforts to eradicate poverty and economic deprivation in the country especially in less-developed provinces.
 
Given the above, QMB recognizes that since it is part of the Iranian community so there is a strong need to contribute to the society. To that end, it helps to improve the economic indicators in the community through making loans to applicants in such areas as employment, livelihood, marriage, and medical treatment which have always been within the exclusive domain of the bank.
 
Having Entered a period of consolidation by putting several CSR proposals into practice, The Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank (QMB) is creating value for the society in a manner that is integrally linked to Islamic principle values while developing and implementing its social responsibility programs in the following areas with the prospect of "Efforts to develop social welfare and gain access to a developed society":
 

       Poverty eradication programs.

       Empowering women through a range of interest-free loans.
       Supporting the youth, marriage and family formation.
       Development of education giving priority to the schoolchildren in deprived areas.
       Rebuilding schools hit by earthquakes in remote and rural villages.
       Effective steps to improve the quality of healthcare services in Iran.
       Environmental Protection along with development of community-based environmental activities.
       Prevention and alleviation of "Social Damage", giving priority to supporting individuals seeking aid from Social Safety Net.
       Realization of citizenship rights.
